He is survived by: his husband Mary (Springer); his children, Joseph Jr. (Lawrence Peers) of Philadelphia, Mary O'Brien (Raymond) of Malvern, Thomas of Philadelphia, Suzanne Hayward (William) of Swarthmore, John (Darwin Lindblom) of St. Paul, Kimberly of West Chester and Christine; his grandchildren, Erin Lotta (Stephen), Martin O'Brien (Katie), Liz O'Brien, Anne Hayward (Dustin Starer), Molly Hayward, Julia Hayward, Alexander Halladay, Peter Halladay, Jane Halladay, Stanley Halladay and Robert Drysdale III; and his great grandchildren, Grace Lotta, Jameson Lotta, Victoria Lotta and Charles O'Brien.
