He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Donoghue and Ellen Donoghue (O'Neill); and his siblings, Edward, William (Bill) and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann Donoghue (Brophy); his children, Anne, Patricia, John, Michael, Robert and Thomas; his children-in-law, Mary, Kadia, Sam and Bruce; and his grandchildren, Jack, Kevin, Bridget, Catherine and Noelle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Penn Medicine Hospice.
