He was predeceased by: his brother Pete Ferrari. He is survived by: his wife Kay Ferrari (Retsel); his children, John F. Ferrari, Jr., Annette Scott and James Ferrari (Susan); his grandchildren, John III, Celene, Julia, Gary, Laura, James Jr. and Nicholas; his brothers, Salvatore "Savy" Ferrari (Mary) and Joseph Ferrari (Joan); and his sister-in-law Anne Ferrari.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Clifton Heights Boys Club PO Box 18 Clifton Heights, PA 19018.
