With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Spencer (Media, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Spencer and Grace Spencer; and her brothers, Robert, Walter (Claire), George (Joyce) and Howard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anna Arters (Spencer) and Raymond (Carole); her sister-in-law Maryanne Spencer; her sisters, Edna Depew and Marion Mortimer; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Depew, John Mortimer and William Arters. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces, great-nieces and nephews, and her best friend.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joan's name to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
