She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John and Estelle; her husband Paul Hermsen; her daughters, Linda (Pat), Diane (Bob) and Susan (Earl); and also, Ralph and Nancy. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
Joan enjoyed volunteering at the local charity shops and nursing homes.
