It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen Pressler (Media, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gretchen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Sharp Rudolph and Joseph J. Rudolph; her brother Eric J. Rudolph; and her husband Maurice Matthew Pressler. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Fooskas (Jim) of Media, PA, Beth Bannerman (Keith) of Alamo, CA, Matt Pressler (Anna) of Newtown Square, PA and Jennifer Doyle (Paul) of Parkesburg, PA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Christ Community Church (1190 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
