It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude K. Morse (Media, Pennsylvania), born in Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Walter H. Kearney; her husband Richard D. Morse; and her daughter Cindy Morse. She is survived by: her sister Clara Kearney Crocker; her daughter Susan I. Morse of Lewes, DE; and her pets, Stetson, Kira and Rainier.
Work was the core of her being; she was determined and disciplined and held positions at Williamson Trade School, The Franklin Mint and at the Media Court House, Delaware County, where she was a court officer into her 94th year, until COVID closures left no choice but for her to reluctantly retire.
