He was predeceased by: his son Eugene Smith Jr.; and his brothers, Harold Smith and Gill Smith. He is survived by: his children, Chuck, Lorraine Smith (Adam Ward) and Charles Smith; and his siblings, Lois Smith and Jerel Smith (Mary Jane).
