It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Leavens of Media, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Leavens to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Vasey and Jane Vasey (Smith); her husband Jim; her sisters, Laura "Jean" Meyers and Barbara Button; and her daughter-in-law Patty Leavens.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Voldish (Bob) of Sterling, VA, Kathy Thayne of Stratford, NJ, Jim Leavens of Folsom, PA, Larry Leavens of Downingtown, PA, Fran Leavens (Jean) of Eagleville, PA and Joe Leavens (Patty) of Thornton, PA.; and her sister Carol Pauls (Dick). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church (617 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eleanor's name to Riddle Village Endowment Fund, 1048 West Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063 or Main Line Hospice, 240 North Radnor Chester Road, Radnor, PA 19087 would be appreciated.
