Dean Staats Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Staats of Media, Pennsylvania, born in Somerville, New Jersey, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Staats and Mabel Staats (Rhodes); his son Barry Staats; his sister Marilyn Clark (Staats); and his brother-in-law Thomas F. Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Truitt Staats; his grandson Patrick D. Staats; his daughter-in-law Maureen Staats; his nephews, Craig T. Clark and Gregory R. Clark; and his niece Lynette Casciotti.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Philadelphia Museum of Art P.O. Box 7646 Philadelphia, PA 19101-7646.
