He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Mortlock and Beatrice Michel Mortlock; his wife Betty; his sons, David (Karin) of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Richard (Lauren) of Asbury Park, NJ; his grandchildren, Christian, Justin Mortlock, Patricia and Anna Mortlock; his nieces, Carol Parkin Hastings and Barbara Parkin Crystle of Delaware; and his sister Marjorie Mortlock Parkin.

Ed continued to be active in Green Ridge Village until his diagnosis with Alzheimer's in 2014 required care.
