With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Eklund of Media, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Schneider and Sarah Schneider; her spouse Rune G. Eklund; her son Rune Eklund (Steve); her grandson Eric R. Eklund; her children, Karen Barnaby (Henry), Eric Eklund (Theresa), Kathryn Eklund, David Eklund (Patti) and Kristin Marder; and her sister Janet Galli (Mario). She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
