She was predeceased by: her son Michael J. Doyle Jr. (Michele); and her nephew Patrick G. McMahon. She is survived by: her children, Mary Funchion (Rich), Denise Chambers (Chris), Loretta Kelly (Dan), Kathleen Doyle and Erin Doyle; her grandchildren, Richard Funchion, Michael Doyle, Grace Funchion, Jack Funchion, Joseph Shirley, Kiera Chambers, Emma Shirley, Phoebe Chambers, Conor Chambers, Michaela Kelly and Rory Bernadette; and her brother Michael McMahon (Claudia).

In lieu of flowers donations in Bernadette's memory to "Little Sisters of the Poor", 5300 Chester Ave., Phila.
