She was predeceased by: her father Nathan Pierpont; her husband William T. Salom; and her son Steven Worrell Salom. She is survived by: her sons, Peter W. (Linda), William P. and James M. (Ellen); and her grandchildren, Wayne T. (Amie), Renee P. (Ted), Evan S. (Patricia) and Maxwell P. (Jessica). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
