She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cooney and Helen Cooney; her husband John McGarrigle; and her brother Dan Cooney. She is survived by: her children, Christina O'Rourke (Brian), Sean McGarrigle (Christa Scheidly) and Daniel McGarrigle; her stepdaughter Carmen Jones; her grandchildren, Fiona O'Rourke, John O'Rourke and Aine McGarrigle; and her siblings, Helen Taylor, Charlotte Teel, Chuck Cooney, Tom Cooney and Kathleen Cooney.
