It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon V. Poplaski of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Vernon V. Poplaski, Sr.; and his stepfather Walter Shevitski. He is survived by: his mother Roxanne Shevitski (Houser) of Sunbury; his wife Deborah Poplaski (Alansky); his children, Alyssa McIntyre (Michael) of Mechanicsburg and Michael Poplaski (Kyra) of Richmond, VA; his sisters, Allison Poplaski of Pine Hill, NJ and Melissa Shevitski; his grandchildren, Madison and Brady McIntyre; his parents-in-law, Len and Bette Alansky of Montoursville; his brother-in-law Len Alansky (Beth); his nephews, Tyler, Drew, Luke and Brett of Downingtown; and also Isabel of Williamsport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Vern may be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (P.O.
