It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne Calvin Shur Jr. (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Laird (Verne Shur Sr.) and Verne. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simmons; his children, Rodney (Karen), Kenneth (Donna) and Pamela; his grandchildren, Amy and Eric (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Luke and Levi.
