She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin DeFord and Mary Rebecca DeFord (Chance); her husband Mark F. Passaro; and her siblings, Pauline Neal, Kathryn Trice, William Jr., Earle, Edward and Charles DeFord.
She is survived by: her children, Mary V. Merhar of Carolina Beach, NC, Linda S. Wighaman of East Petersburg, PA, Mark F. Passaro Jr. of York Springs, PA and Steven D Passaro of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her sister Eloise Wooden of Florence, SC.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
