He is survived by: his parents, Alfred W. Kaplin and Elaine S. Zeigler (August); his daughters, Alexia J. Kaplin and Megan N. Kaplin; his sisters, Tracy R. Kaplin, Andrea B. Kaplin and Stephanie S. Brantlinger (Lance); and his stepsisters, Tanya M. Zeigler and Laura L. Lex. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
