He was predeceased by: his parents, Jatindra C. Kundu and Binapani D. Kundu; and his former wife Patricia O'Daly, MD. He is survived by: his daughters, Kate and Juli; his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Katherin Velardo (Mike) of Cortlandt Manor, NY and Anjali Champ (Colin) of Sewickley, PA.; his granddaughters, Aurelia and Chiara; his sister Jayanthi; and his sister-in-law Bimala. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law as well as a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dr. Kundu's name to the HARI Temple or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
