He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Shambaugh and Josephine Shambaugh (Elliott). He is survived by: his wife Linda C. Shambaugh (Smith); his sons, Robert L. Shambaugh, Jr., Ryan M. Shambaugh and Brandon F. Shambaugh (Sandi); and his siblings, Barbara Daniel (Michael) and Dennis Shambaugh (Ann).
