He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Joseph McVoy and Mary Teresa McVoy (Istvan); and his brothers, Joseph Lee McVoy, Frederick Leo McVoy and Thomas Martin McVoy.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Barb Brinton; his children, Jesse Howard McVoy, Joseph Lee McVoy, Teresa May McVoy and Michael Robert McVoy; his sister Bonnie Treon; and his former wife Patricia Baum. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
