He is survived by: his husband Fenton Greg Fox; his children, Melissa Boeckel (Bryan), Matthew (Michell), Jared (Nicole) and Julia Minehart; his grandchildren, Guiseppe "Tom" Lim, Hunter Boeckel, Anilyn Holtzapple, Emmitt Holtzapple and Lyric Minehart; his brother Galen (Sue); his sister-in-law Dawn A. Fox; and the mother of his children Anita Lowe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
