With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard A. Wheeler (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Anthony Wheeler and Monica Bernadette Wheeler; his wife Helen L. Wheeler; his brothers, James and Michael; his daughters, Leslie Wagner, Robin Goodman and Laura Akbar; and his grandchildren, Laurence "Laurie", Annabel, Sophia, Madison, Quinn and Laurie "Chloe".
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (400 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Open House (25 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
