It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marshall G. Bender of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Tower City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Grant Bender and Eva Mae Bender (Houtz); his wives, Mary Jane Bender (Reiner) and Joann Bender (Miller); and his siblings, Mark, Robert, Erma and Clair.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Anne Funk (Richard) of Lebanon, Lisa J. Clouser (Gary) of Mechanicsburg and John M. Bender, Sr. (Serena) of Duncannon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
