It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Paxton of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Daniel Bates and Ella Leontine Bates (Thomas); her husband Paul Leroy Paxton; and her siblings, Charles D. Bates, Jr., Robert Bates and Janet Ann Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Linn Lieb (Alan) of Mechanicsburg, Steven Paul Paxton (Amy) of Leola and Ann Lauree Trott (Linwood) of Selbyville, DE. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; her thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
