With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Elizabeth Kostelac of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reiter Beightol and Charlotte Alice Beightol (Groff); and her brother John Beightol. She is survived by: her husband George "Mike" Michael Kostelac, Jr.; her children, Christina "Christy" Alice King (Robert) of Enola and Michael John Kostelac (Michelle) of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Emily and D. J.; her pets, Izzy, Titus, Pebbles, Luke and Leia; and her sister-in-law Mary Alice Neumyer of Harrisburg. She is also survived by her niece, two nephews, and a great-niece.
