It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Arlene (Lucas) Schaefer of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Lucas and Pauline Lucas (Miller); her husband Charles Schaefer, Sr.; her son Stephen Edward Schaefer; and her siblings, Ed, Foster, James, Jr., Darrell, Shirley Statler and Karen Keller.
She is survived by: her son Charles L. Schaefer, Jr. (Leslie) of Mystic, CT; her granddaughter Carly Schaefer of San Diego, CA; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Siters of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
