In the sacred silence of farewell, Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Ballard and Marion Ballard; and her sisters, Anne Dunlap, Mary Martin and Nancy Ballard.
She is survived by: her husband John Reid George Sr.; her stepchildren, Ellen Smith (George), David George (Diane) and John George Jr.; and her nephews, Thomas Martin (Joyce), Wayne Dunlap (Emily) and Wesley Dunlap. She is also survived by three grand-nieces and three grand-nephews.
