With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice J. Light of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Campbelltown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick F. Shirk and Helen Shirk (DiGiacomo); her husband Lamar L. Light; and her brother Frederick E. Shirk. She is survived by: her daughters, Anne-Marie Mettus (Richard) of Feasterville, Elaine L. Price (James) of Mechanicsburg and Patti J. Savastio (Michael) of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Megan Friedman (Matthew), Matthew Price, Carinne Mettus, Jonathan Mettus, Ellen Kremer (Kevin) and Thomas Savastio (Carly); her great grandchildren, Kellan Friedman, Owen Friedman and Julia Kremer; her niece Debra Wilkenloh; and her nephew Frederick B. Shirk.
