He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Toland and Marilyn M. Toland (Rice); and his sister Sandy Minor. He is survived by: his wife Lynn M. Toland (Machado); his children, Erin Flanagan of Mechanicsburg, Megan Cramer (Dan) of Myrtle Beach and Matt Toland of Pittsburgh; his sister Barbara Toland (Greg Wood); and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Wallace (Charlie) and Barbara Zimmerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
