We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 93, George J. Lawrence of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. and Mary V. Lawrence (Garstka); his wife Imelda Lawrence (Rusnock); and his siblings, Helen Bailey, John Lawrence, Frances Lawrence, Frances Rita Lawrence and Fredrick Lawrence.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann I. Lawrence of Bethlehem, PA; and his siblings, Paul Lawrence of Woodbridge, CT, Robert Lawrence (Florence) of Herdon, VA, Rosemary Urillo of Hazleton, PA, Benedicta Trubilla (Lawrence) of Allentown, PA and JoAnn Wilcrout (Lawrence) of Lafayette, IN..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (3435 Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
