With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Alan Comp of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in West Fairview, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ira Comp Sr. and Effa Virginia Comp (Taylor); and his brothers, David Ira Comp Jr. and Daryl Comp. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Deb" Kaye Comp (Hedrick); his goddaughter Cassandra Hedrick of Carlisle, PA; and his former wife Mary Frost.

Gary's family invites those wishing to celebrate Gary's life with a memorial contribution to make them to a charity of their choosing.
