He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Karkuff and Esther Louise Karkuff (Manning); and his sisters, Ruth Herron, Viola Harris and Pearl Guilfoy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Karkuff (Thomas); his children, Gary Karkuff (Karen) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Debbie Kelly (Earl) of Mullica Hill, NJ; his stepchildren, Audrey Petty (Lance) of Shelbyville, KY and Alan Wurst (Gwen) of Norris City, IL.; his grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan, Shannon, Jenna, Stefan and Eva; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Abby, Tucker, Jordan, Connor and Samuel. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home (47 Main St, Mantua Township, NJ 08051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
