He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Whitman and Mildred Viola Whitman (Sheriff); and his grandson Dylan Whitman. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Whitman (Fry) of Mechanicsburg; his sons, Michael E. Whitman (Paula) of Carlisle and Terry L. Whitman (Cara) of Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Terry Whitman, II, Jennifer Pedrick of Carlisle, Michele Clelan (Mike) of Newville, Wendy Phillips (Matt) of Newalla, OK, Paige Whitman of Carlisle and Chase Whitman of Carlisle. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
