He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Mellott (Keefer); and his siblings, Preston Mellott, Nellie Parson, Martha Painter, Laura Mellott, Cleo Donahue and Alvey Mellott (Grover Mellott).
He is survived by: his father Rankin Mellott; his wife Esther of Needmore, PA.; his children, Jennifer (Thomas Straight) of Casper, WY, Jeannette and Christopher (Beth Mellott); his grandchildren, Brandon, Tiffany, Benjamin, Abagail, Zachary, Adam, Elizabeth and Sara; his great grandchildren, Payton and Hunter; and his siblings, Alan Mellott (Sally) and Sharon Glazier (Kenneth Lee). He is also survived by wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
