She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rath and Erna Rath (Schenk) of Philadelphia; and her husband Col. John E. Hoffman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hoffman (Kim) of Franklin, PA, Julie Hoffman of Philadelphia, PA and Margaret LaViers (Donald) of Strawberry Plains, TN; her brother Hans Rath (Sue); her grandchildren, Amy, Lisa, Scott and Sara; and also, Ernest, Florence and Cooper.
