He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Joann Spataro (Casamento); and his siblings, Virginia McReynolds, Lucian and John. He is survived by: his children, John F. Spataro (Kathryn) of Meadville, PA, Christine M. Rick of Mechanicsburg, Stephen C. Spataro (Maria) of Mexicali, Carl L. Spataro, Jr. (Alison) of Lancaster and Paul A. Spataro (Heather Newman) of Astoria, NY; his sister Katarina Tiso; his sister-in-law Karen Spataro; his grandchildren, Marissa, Andrea (Travis), Carly (Akash), Jonelle (Casey), Jonathan (Alyssa), Jocelyn, Danielle and David (Korin); and his great grandchildren, Clayton, Rachel (KC), Courtney (Gabe), Aubrianna, Mara, Kai, Alexander and Aria.
