He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hajjar and Nabeaha Hajjar. He is survived by: his siblings, David, Victor and Josephine; his wife Linda; and his children, Elisabeth and Thomas. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Pennsylvania CASA (Court Appointed.
