He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Martha Unger (Guenther); his son Robert Unger; and his brother John Howard Unger. He is survived by: his children, Tom Unger (Christina) of Ashburn, VA and Cindy Restauri (Andy) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Breanna Unger, Carley Stiger (Nick), Joshua Restauri, Benjamin Restauri, Olivia Unger and Madeline Unger; his great grandchildren, Bradlee and Samuel Steiger; and his sister Mary Ann Wiley (Bill) of Meadville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local Volunteer Fire Department of one's choice.
