He was predeceased by: his parents, William Small and Janet Small (Falbo). He is survived by: his wife Kay Small (Grabe); his children, William "Todd" Small (Mickie) and Christine Gessner (Todd); his grandchildren, William "Tyler" Small, Tanner Gessner and Cassidy Gessner; and his siblings, Phyllis Mangone, Barry Small and Debbie Small.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory - West 38th (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
