He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Greathouse and Bernice Walls Greathouse; his sons, Tom and Mike Greathouse; his granddaughter RaeAnna Maillard; his great grandchild Chloe Dennis; his sister Ellen Sprenkle; and his brother-in-law Ralph Hickman.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta J. Taylor; his children, Cheryl Smith of Saegertown, Shelly Munsterman of Louisiana, Renee Potosky (Adam) of North Carolina, Robert Woodrow (Sherry) of Conneaut Lake, Russell Woodrow (Rhonda) of Meadville, Ronald Woodrow (Emma Bonanno) of Meadville and Arthur Greathouse of Frenchtown; his sister Marian Hickman of Meadville; his brother-in-law Gordon Sprenkle of Black Ash; his friend Ben Grant; and also, Richard Coleman and Betty Jean Rich. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
