He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ivan Myers and Lillian Myers (Baylie); his wife Cathy Manross; his brothers, John, Daniel and Kenneth Myers (Carol); his sister-in-law Beverly Myers; his children, Francis Morris (Jay), Rebecca Funk (Andrew) and Robin Oakes (David); his siblings, Herman, Robert, Arthur and Dorothy Myers; his grandson Trevor Austin Myers; and also, Carol Bowes, John Myers (Dawn), David Myers (Tammy), Thomas Myers (Tabitha) and Cynthia (Jeff).
