He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. and Blanche Chisholm, Sr. (Doubet); his sister Kathleen Heckman; and his nephew Robert Olds. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Chisholm (Crystal) of Meadville, James Chisholm (Michelle) of King George, VA and Jack Chisholm (Steven Culley) of Phoeniz, AZ; his grandchildren, Sara Chisholm, Megan Donnarumma (Nick), Tyler Chisholm and Jared Chisholm; and his sister Elizabeth Olds of Sugar Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
