He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Kay and Edna Mabel Williams Irwin; his daughter Debra Ann Cooper; his son-in-law William J. Cooper; his grandson Terry K. Yochum; his great grandchild Kaden; and his siblings, Richard J. Irwin and Lois M. Eldred.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hughes; his children, Sherree K. Yochum (Rodney) of Pleasantville, Susan Beck (Steve) of Titusville, Jeffrey Irwin (Memory) of Meadville and Timothy Irwin of Meadville; and his pet Happy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 140 Wadsworth Avenue, Meadville, PA 16335.
