She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dewey and Winifred Lena Post Dewey; her husband Robert L. Benson; her sons, Ralph and Robert; her granddaughter Elizabeth; and her brother Edward.
She is survived by: her children, David Lee Benson (Julie) of Greer, SC, Christine Thompson (Charles) of Salisbury, NC, James Benson of Lincoln, VT and Mark E. Benson (Kathy) of Coraopolis; and also, John Moyer of Conneaut Lake, David Moyer of Maumee, OH, Kevin Moyer (Denise) of Conneaut Lake and Betsy Tingley (Reggie) of Conneaut Lake. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two nephews.
