He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Sansom and Edna Sansom (Bancroft); his granddaughters, Grace Ann Bronson and Sarah Bronson; and his great grandchild Dylan Blake Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Ann of Centerville; his children, Lori Bunce (Bob) of Centerville, Mary Williams (Ken) of Warren, Joe Sansom (Jewel) of Brookville, Lisa Maybray (Tim) of Titusville, Jenny Burns (John) of Townville and Steve Sansom (Tracey) of Centerville; his grandchildren, Andrew Bunce (Jillian), Bethany Kontaxes (Jason), Megan Resig (Steve), Josh Williams (Laura), Tara Lewis (Aaron), Brandon Sansom (Tiffany), Zac Sansom, Hannah Sansom, Kayla Johnson (Darrick), Emily Bennett (Brian), Jacob Bronson (Katee), Shana Burchard (Trent), Leana Burns, Melanie Burns, Maria Burns, Abigail Trypus (Matt), Lea Sansom and Faith Sansom; his sisters, Joquetta Canfield (George) of Cambridge Springs, Sandy Smith (Bruce) of Titusville and Nancy Caldwell; and his son-in-law Pastor Tim Maybray. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
