She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Josephine Helen Kurt Smith; her husband Harold C. Derby; her brothers, Russell G., Duane L. and Lawrence A. Smith (Sonny); and her son-in-law Edward Mangus.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mangus of Guys Mills, Jeffrey Derby (Judy) of Meadville, Deborah Fisk (Bill) of Titusville, Tammy Walter (Roger) of Guys Mills, Susan Hollabaugh (Stephen) of Guys Mills and Brenda Marsh (Calvin) of Pleasantville; and her sisters, Joan McCain of Meadville, Audine Ehrgott (Paul) of Meadville, Kay Hotchkiss (Karl) of Meadville and Wanda Schmidt (Marcus) of Meadville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
