He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Gilliand and Cleo Gilliand (Walters); and his sister Jean Keller. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Gilliand; his children, Michael Gilliand and Marci Finton (Dennie); his brother Edward Gilliand (Jane); his stepsons, Stephen Higham (Tami) and Matthew Higham (Michelle); and his grandsons, Drew Finton (Courtney), Nicklaus Gilliand (Erin), Cole Finton, Parker Gilliand, Parker Higham and Evan Higham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
