He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Abbe, III and Ellen MacQueen Ashbridge. He is survived by: his children, Heather James (Rick) of Washington and Richard Abbe of Guys Mills; and his sisters, Margaret Brooks and Harriet De Hart.
